No it all depends on gearing, weight, aero, power under the curve, driver etc.. For my run he was a auto doing 138mph. For the Mustang to do 138 with a auto, he is not wasting any speed/boost in-between shifts and is more efficient. He was also on a tire so he left the line with little wasted wheel spin. I am around 137-140mph (estimate that TODD K say others with about the same set up are running) with a 6spd. To do the same 138 in a 6spd we need to make a lot more power to compensate for the in-efficiencies of speed and boost lost between shift and slower launch. From a roll where there is no launch to worry about and less shifting (from a 3rd or even a 2nd) you are in higher gears longer and less time shifting losing ground to a auto. Your extra power that was needed to match the auto's 138 in the 1/4 is now "displaying it self!

If you can drive your manual good you should be able to hang with auto's from a roll that trap 1-3 mph faster in the 1/4.

Same is true for a PDK vs a 6spd. You take a 140 trap 911 6spd and it will hang or even slight pull a 142-144 trap 911 PDK from a higher gear roll...you just need to known how to row your gears...look at prodigymb's vids vs a GTR that 60-130 quicker and traps higher ....from a roll he slightly pulls him!

For VR6tee, his car is most likely just trapping 10mph more then that poor stang & the stang just never knew what hit him! lol!

Thxs man! Many didn't run, they just came out to hang and talk car talk, but if you wanted some action we could of set you up with a couple of other cars. There is a all motor 408 C5 Z06 and a bolt-on 08 GT500 to name a few that I could of set you up with...really cool guys...but something tells me you would of come in #1 by a couple car lengths over those two!
We have been saying for 2yrs about getting together for a cruise (we don't need to run) and or just car talk, we need to make it happen.

Dzenno saw the vids and texted me saying, "we should run"! I told him I am down, but he said he need a couple of weeks to finish up with the bmw stuff and dial in his 911. I am betting he will have about 10 cars on me!

Excellent.
I am about 635awhp and mine runs like a raped ape also. I have no problem putting a few cars on cars making similar power if not more that are considerably lighter.
E85 and Todd's tune makes for a hell of a fast car for sure.
