OEM Carbon Trim Peeling/Warping, Should I go DB or MA Carbon?

I need to replace the OEM cupholder carbon trim for the 3rd damn time, this time the dealer is not doing it even though the car is still under warranty. Not only that but the centre console and rear bin have managed to warp this time also and those piece alone are $$$$.

I don't mind using DB or MA carbon instead as they provide matching OEM replacements, however has anybody faced the same issues with there parts? I would rather use the standard (silver) finish than put the DB or MA carbon and have it peel/warp again.

Either one of them. Both sell products superior to EOM. OEM is absolute crap. Over the years I have had OEM fail, and over the years I have purchased numerous parts from both DB and MA. None of the after-market stuff has failed, and it all matches.

That is a beautiful interior you have their.

I am comparing the prices of replacing all the carbon parts to OEM silver or interior color and replacing only the damaged carbon parts from MA carbon. It is still cheaper to replace all the carbon parts back to the silver/interior color which includes replacing the steering wheel and pdk **** vs. only replacing 3 carbon trim parts (cupholder, centre console, console bin).

I noticed the DB is generally less expensive but the cupholder trim doesn't have the cup pic on it on there website. Anybody installed can confirm?

believe it or not, I found that the OEM dash trim pieces (cup holder) were cheaper than DB or MA. Not sure if the same is true today. So that would be the only exception I've experienced so far. They seem to be holding up well. Try OEM. It the US, Sunset Porsche on the west coast has always had great prices on them. Not sure about your sources, however.
