Rss engine mounts!!

seems like everyone I call, they are sold out! Anyone know where I can find a set?

I was going to actually do a write up about these.

I am someone that doesn't mind trying something that others haven't. But with that being said, I also don't install something that isn't high quality on my car. For instance, I would never install ebay exhaust for multiple reasons: Low grade material quality, poor welds, lack of harmonic understanding, unproven, etc.

These motor mounts are a very nice billet piece, with perfect fitment and high grade poly, there is no reason to spend more money or having to wait on other mounts to be in stock.

I have driven 2 cars with other mounts, one with RSS, and I have to say that the nyppd are just as good.

Another option is WEVO. But if you're stuck with RSS, I'm sure another shipment is coming

Look into the Rennline mounts instead, I'm using the adjustable set - rate them.

Good luck in your search. Very happy with my torque solutions mounts. I just did the engine and not the trans. There is a tiny bit more vibration transmitted, but it really firms up the drivetrain with a much more solid and connected feel. It is honestly a lot like my GT3 now. Not annoying at all, just more sporty and less luxury car feel.

I couldn't agree more. I would leave the stock tranny mount in. I have driven both and the added vibration to me isn't worth it. With just the motor mounts, the car feels great.

Any luck?

I just ordered a set of these, hopefully won't take too long. Compared to an F430, or heck even a 360, these 997.1 Turbo engine mounts are GT car sloppy, with a lot of movement. (Sloppiness could be due to mileage and amount of abuse etc.) I wonder how the RSS mounts compare to a set of GT2RS engine mounts, but I don't see a lot of guys running these. Anyways, I'm willling to wait to check them out. Torque solutions and rennline was next on my list. I can feel the tranny moving under me quite a bit, hopefully this solves without going to Polly trans mount. From experience there, the nvh will increase due to transmission gear noises and proximity to the driver etc.
