Drag Racing: Champion Or AMS intercoolers?
I'm saying thank you for posting the picture showing the difference in your intake temperature when you added meth injection. This helps put it in perspective and what to expect. It is always more helpful when posted with some form of data like you did. 

While I know meth will help me with short runs, it doesn't help me in the 1/2 mile as much without intercoolers. I really appreciate all the great feedback and opinions... this is good stuff.
thats praying a nozzle doesnt clog pump fail or run out of meth when the low warning sensor fails and your on a full meth tune and suddenly your crazy lean!
We run meth very cautiously. Not installed or tuned like most. And I never run pump/meth for big power. Always a supplement that can be there or not. Done correctly you get awesome gains laid over the same map with just high octane.
A tuner can do a tune map on IAT too
If u don't get meth and not much cooling you drop timing and boost. Won't go crazy lean this way.
Also whoever run methanol system should maintain it well... and I've seen really poor installations... so it has to be done well.
And systems like HFS4 from Aquamist are quite advanced and will put u on safe mode if a flow is distributed and/or tank is low

Is this a finding or an opinion?
I actually just picked up a set of Protomotive intercoolers for my car. I looked at AMS, but the carbon fiber ducting is incompatible with my intake setup, and I'm going to use a Y-pipe with blow off valve mounts so the package wasn't that complete for me.
If I were running a VTG based car I would buy the AMS and call it a day. Nothing against Champion, but the AMS package is great.

Hi guys how about 82 millimeter throttle body with IPD Plenum thousand cc injectors Catless 3 inch exhaust e85 and AMS intercoolers with custom tune that what I am planning to do what do you guys think
Looks just like my last setup you'll love it The one thing I would change if I had to do it again is go 1300cc injectors. You don't need them on stock turbos but if you start upgrading the turbos you will wish you had them in there. Do it once not twice lol. Now I'm in the process of installing my new Protomotive VTGs and I'm pretty sure I will hit the limit of the injector. Not a great place to be in my opinion.
