Can anyone recommend a good 911 Turbo tuner in the Central Texas area? Not interested in a canned or mail-order tune.

Speaking from my own personal experience with a custom dyno tune from them, I would recommend avoiding the Plano Cobb location.

It is independently run/managed and not at all like the service and support from Cobb itself which I do highly recommend. (Mitch/Jon/etc.)

 

I did get my car custom tuned at Cobb Plano... I'm pretty happy with the tune. I'm not sure if be completely comfortable discussing their attitudes on an open forum, but their tuner is pretty good.

I had orginalky asked the exact same question when I got TTS last summer... seems tuners in our area are few and far between. Jotech tunes these cars too, might give them a call.

 

Boost Logic in Austin too. Forgot to mention them.

 

Car is there now. They are working through a few issues with the tune and clutch setup. I was looking for a backup in the event they don't follow through.

At Cobb Plano I have had both their tuner and Jon from Cobb help with the car. You can get access to both there if your car is special needs like mine. We are working right now on enhancing boost response in low gear for better jump off the corners.
