Correct! just wondering what was the difference in the 996tt trans? Are they stronger then a 996tt trans?
- new case castings are stronger, less flex around diff
- stronger and slightly wider gear wheels
- every synchro is a triple gear steel synchro with carbon coating, triple synchros is the reason the 997TT trans is slightly longer than 996TT and cannot fit the GT2 gears.
i'm not saying these things are unbreakable, because they most definitely are .... but far less common than 996 3rd gear failure.

Met the guy who just bought this car today at Shift sector he didn't get it shipped in time for the event, but says he will be at the next events in CA ,so should be nice to see it do some runs.
