My oil experience

This is not another oil thread just my opinion ....
I bought my car from a friend in Florida so I knew I was getting a great serviced car....this car has seen about 20 track days form me and the previous owner...from the start owner would use Mobil1 but would notice how dark the oil would get after 3 20 min..sections...after asking some of his tech peeps they advised that mutol or amsoil full saps would be a better track use...and they were right the oils looked a lot cleaner after the same amount of time...fast forwards when I bought the car from him...he called me that his turbo was for sale and boy did I jump on it...he would say that he didn't get enough drive time and it was about a year since he last drove it....I continued to use amsoil with great results...one day under the lift I noticed that that there was some seepage under the motor and after research it looked normal and my guess happened after not being driven for period of time....just to give example if I cleaned seepage area it would take about4-6 months to see a little wet spot but no drip...
Fast forward to my last oil change. Was done by a tech shop with 30 years of motor building exp.and has a lot of race cars on circuits in the east coast...he recommended liqui moly 0-40 code name(2050).... I'm happy to say that as of last there is no wet spots and it seems like it has totally sealed the motor...
Just to quite down all the Mobil fans...Mobil leaked also...so I'm not going to start a oil thread but if you have a motor with seepage or slight leakage give liquimoly 0-40 (2050) a try.....

I'm a big fan of Liqui moly and use it on all my cars.

For the 911 Turbo.. I am using 10w60 with two cans of Ceratec.

Magic protection!
