Don't recommend firmer springs on billet VTG's. Under boost the car is under full control and manifold pressure. Like maestro said it's good for Trans Ams but hard on the turbo charger's compressor side.

That's correct, much stiffer springs (like 4x), working with the stock diaphragm. The goal was to improve transient response, in slalom like maneuvers where you are cycling on and off the throttle, and also between shifts. The brv still cycles, you can hear it on hard lifts/braking. Datalogs show 1-3 psi left in the system in the first second or two after closing the throttle. Before it was 0 or in vacuum. No side effects noticed in casual driving.
