I went with them for awhile but it drove me crazy. Too much cabin noise and vibrations. That might be because I have RSS engine mounts too. I didn't notice any improvement in traction. I felt a big improvement with the engine mounts. The car felt tighter with the semisolids, especially when shifting under heavy load. I guess that could be traction improvement. I'm going to try those inserts next time. I think torque developments has them.

I ended up putting in the 997 ones in which are better, from what I was told. The race ones sits on my toolbox.

If your car is a track only car, and or you're deaf, then it might be all ok...
Having a helmet on would help. I think the loudest was the 4th gear. Can't remember exactly. It's been a while.

Almost forgot. I'm rear wheel drive. 03 GT2

I use Rennline tuneable mounts on medium bushings - no noticeable impact on traction, significant impact on engine movement during weight shift, as noted above. I'd put them in if I was doing it again, well worth the slight increase in NVH.

El Dario Loco is infamous around these parts
Don't have an answer regarding traction but I recently installet Porsche original RS motor-mounts. There is (to me) a fairly significant increase in engine sound inside the cabin. I think it's pretty cool, gives the car a raw sporty feel. Will probably be obnoxious on long drives. Also, I feel that the shifting is not as smooth, more notchy. I also have semi solid tranny mounts.

On the upside i can save some weight by throwing out the sound system which is now made redundant

I use Wevo engine mounts, and FF trans mount insert. The Wevo engine mounts were installed first, and driveline feel was the same as stock. Trans mount inserts started to add some NVH to the cabin, but it is still pretty mild. Wheel hop when launching is mostly eliminated, and when it does hop, it is very short/high frequency. Your shock damping and spring rates also has an impact on off the line traction, as well as launch technique - more clutch slip makes for smoother launch and less wheelspin.

Are you running Soft, Sport or Track FF trans mount insert?
Those look like a great product. I thought Torque solutions made them but I think these are the ones I saw. Good pricing to boot.

I have the Track (Black) FF trans mount insert. It caused an increase in the LWFW gear rattle noise in neutral being passed into the cabin, but no other added vibrations.
