Nonsense post, but I do love

The smell of Porsche leather and the sound of the cold start, after you've been away and the car has been locked up for a week or two...

I know what you mean starting and smelling 911 leather is the best part of coming home after a trip and it's the first thing I do

is there a product that will keep that smell? I love it too, but feel it is fading.

I use Lexol to keep the leather supple......after 10 years I'm not sure if it's leather or "that Porshe" smell. My 91 has a very specific scent that is synonomous to other older Porsches and is a mix of leather and Porsche parts!

FWIW I used armor-all leather care. It's a one-step product but I've been happy with it. I find Lexol leaves behind a very strong odor that takes a long time to come out. Eitherway, agree with the love of the smell and a cold start exhaust--especially with a europipe

Just back from two weeks for me as well . . . I caught myself day dreaming about my Turbo MANY times while in a 6 speed diesel Renault (110hp MAX, HaHa). As well as hearing nicely exhausted dual clutches for the past week also. It felt so good to drive to work today in my 997 . . . It was one of the things I was looking forward to today after the trip

I even have to admit that I have considered not cracking my window to keep the smell in, but I do need the trickle charger, so I'm not sure that's an option! Anyway, DRM . . . I completely get it KH
