Nice one Adam don't tell me your missing her already ,hope it went to a good home & continues to perform like that for the new owner.Glad to see Tony & the Omega No fly zone guys are coming back to SoCal in Nov, it's been a quite year so far for us in 1/2 mile events.

I don't know. if your car is making more like 700whp on a dynojet it seems less far fetched. PDK 911's get OUT from the hole quick....at a few hundred at the wheels and you have a pretty deadly car.
Maybe i'm also biased because my GTR has small turbos and it's on a 4.3. So it has a ton of torque and makes up ground quick. Whereas the 1600whp car you raced might be on a 3.8 or 4.0 and likely takes a ton of time to spool.
Either way...your 997 is retarded.
i'm a couple weeks away from doing 63.5's on my 997. It's going to be a pump gas car only though. So i'm looking for 600whp on pump on a manual. it won't be a crazy drag racer but it should be a good time on the street.

My 911 Turbo makes 635awhp and it can hang with cars making 800rwhp/awhp no problem...she traps about 145mph on the 1/4 so she is no slacker.
My GTR is stroked @ 4.2 and it makes 840awhp/835lbs/tq and it is naughty...specially after 100mph. She has no problem with cars making 1000awhp/rwhp and traps about 155+mph on the 1/4. I can even beat BMW S1000RRs.
It is hard coming back from that though...the GTR is not launching - keep that mind, so from the get go, there is a 10-12 car gap right there, and then the GTR can't launch but has to roll in it, so it takes time to build boost if he is making 1600awhp...I think it is quite probable.

TYPPPOOOOOO. 135mph.
This was done with one of those phone apps a friend of mine let me use.
I can pull away from Huracans and 488's...slightly...so I actually think it should trap a little more than that.

I am a long-time road course guy and I don't think I have EVER been to a drag race or airstrip event...unbelievable!

Gracias!
First world problems though...I am already "double booked" between two other race event options that same weekend, plus I may be in Nashville for work the prior days which screws with my prep and tow plans. Most likely I will be at Chuckwalla with POC 11/3-5 but I'll catch one of these 1/2mi events if not drive in one ASAP.
