Is it possible to integrate vbox video hd2 via CAN with a 997.1 turbo? Looking at their downloads they have a CAN database file for 911 (997) GT3 but I don't see anything specific to 997 turbo. Will this work for all 997s or only GT3?

Seems like most people on here go with a vbox sport. It would be nice to integrate CAN data with video and performance specs all in one shot.

Has anyone done this?

I just came across this note ... The CAN bus must be configured at a baud rate of 500k.
On this vehicle CAN data is not available via the OBD Port. Instead CAN connection cables can be found in various positions around the vehicle such as behind the steering wheel, behind the drivers seat or under the parcel shelf.

This sounds like a fairly involved installation.

 

Not sure about that stuff ,but i use the sport model which i love it's totally wireless & works great with the iPhone app for instant results .
