Seriously, that's a freakin' nice unicorn! I was scrolling through the pics thinking that Cobalt looks a little off, only to see your build sheet...! Great options, too.
Would you mind sharing the ballpark on what you paid for that beauty?

This is very interesting and so very spot on!
I have a 2007 turbo and there is something special about them and going through the gears - it is a rewarding experience. My turbo makes 635hp to the tires and it does everything so well. Sometimes I don't drive it for a couple of weeks and then I catch myself jumping on board and then not wanting to get out of it.
There is no doubt that DCT cars are definitely faster when it comes to shifting - it is the nature of the beast. That is not to say you cannot have fun in them; they are simply different. They are not as engaging and you may feel a tiny bit disconnected. My GT-R makes oodles of power...870hp to the tires, and it is plenty fun. If I could only have one of these two, I think I definitely would stick with the pcar.
Now, there are other cars that feel even more different. The F1 transmission on the Ferraris for example...they feel like a nice blend between both. It is a single clutch transmission, and it pretty much acts like a manual, except that you have to apply pressure to the paddles to get the gears to engage. You feel the clutch, that slight snap to your neck every time you apply it - it is a manual paddle car basically. I drove a gated 430 and I simply could not connect that well with it. The throws felt so long and so disconnected. Weird, huh?

I think it was a fair deal for both of us. I am very happy that I got it though. I wasn't actively looking and he just messaged me to see how I had sold my other cars.
Welcome back.
