Does he have the Vbox verified graph? Obviously I had the data and it isn't just hear-say.

They will help tremendously on the long type power pulls that you do.In the case of my car, I know that it added torque in the mid range. I actually had to drop all the way back down to my base E85 mapping because the clutch wasn’t coping well. As far as absolute power, I’m not sure. The turbos themselves are the limiting factor there.

I suppose I could go and reset the record, but I’ve sort of moved on. I keep the 997 on pump gas (6.7 60-130) and it’s just so much more fun to actually drive. The insane torque hit and violence of the car on E85 quickly becomes old and it really overwhelms the chassis. On pump I’d estimate it in the 580-590 whp/wtq range on 21 psi across the board. It’s smooth, and fast and just a joy to drive around in and that’s what I care about with that car now.

I bought the 991 to to 9s in the 1/4 mile on pump gas, no meth. Fun things to come with that one.

gotta do a good LSD and suspension arms to keep the torque hit from upsetting the chassis otherwise you are right it just goes all over the place

What is the best data logger to get. There is a vbox sport that works with phone I just saw. Any other options besides vbox mini we can use? Would like to buy one soon.

I have seen people use that one and it seems to work well, just needs to be paired with your phone.

This is the one that I use:

SteveW has submitted some impressive 997.2 60-130 and 100-150 times from his stock motor, stock turbo 997.2.

I believe this is the new quickest 997.2 60-130 time we have on the list. Congrats SteveW & Emre!

5.52 - SteveW / 997.2TTS / AWD/ ESMOTOR 700 Kit / PDK / Stock Clutches / Stock Engine / Stock Turbos

ESMOTOR Tune
ESMOTOR 3” Exhaust
ESMOTOR Headers
Cobb Accessport
DO88 Big Pack Intercooler Kit Including DO88 Y Pipe
IPD Inlet Plenum

The car runs on UK Shell V Power pump fuel only. No octane booster or race fuel at all. Tyres are street Michelin Pilot Super Sports OEM size.

The car runs full weight and stock aero. It also runs a stock engine, stock pdk, stock fuelling & stock VTG turbocharges.

Dave got a new tuneup from ESMotor and AIM Performance pushing his already record holding 991 60-130 few more spots up the 60-130 latter.

AIM Performance submitted several VBOX files from the 1/2 Mile event in Dallas.

First their white ESMotor tuned 991TT full weight, stock motor, trans, clutches car broke the US 991 1/2 Mile vbox GPS verified record with several 178.x MPH passes, on those runs it went 5.3 60-130 and 5.2 100-150.

178.1 - AIM Performance / VBOX VERIFIED / 991TT-S / AWD / AIM Performance - ESMotor 750 Kit / Stock Clutches Stock Engine / COBB / 750WHP / PDK

They also broke the 997.2 US 1/2 Mile Record with Erik's stock turbo, stock engine, stock clutches car. This car did 5.7 60-130 and 5.8 100-150.

172.6 - erikchich / VBOX VERIFIED / 997.2TT-S / AWD / AIM Performance - ESMotor 700 Kit / Stock Clutches Stock Engine / COBB / 700WHP / PDK
