997 Turbo Engine Failure

doh! I would recommend to anybody running big power on stock rods to keep boost low @ peak tq.
We were ramping from 16psi to 35psi from 4000 to 7400 (rev limit). and my rods were straight when we pulled the motor apart for a build.
just FYI
Glad to hear you are in good spirits. Build it better!

My tuner was always making sure that i dont play with the boost controller but coming from an NA car that was nearly impossible.
As we say Im eating what i baked so im good heheh

proEFI, control engine and boost tuned by Garth Ruggie.
Car felt so weird having no torque and tons of HP, but it was fast and lived.
Now I run 35psi all in as soon as possible
course car is for sale, heh.

Thats really impressive. Around here Syvecs is the way to go as it is very common here for big power porsches

Just as an update,
I just contacted Mr Frank from SillyRabbits sales department and told him im returning the rods. I hope Mr Sean will agree to return them and return my money minus the restocking fees which is 30%

I had my long block built at SRM with their rods, CP pistons and liners and stage 1 cams. Also using their clutch and the EFR turbos. Car has been running for over a year now at just over 1000whp without any issue.

Thats a good thing to hear. Are 100% positive they used their rods in the build? The purpose of this thread was to count how many builds have they done with their rods and how the rods are holding the power. Would you please post the dyno sheet of the car?
