Photo shop request!!

I really like the look of the 997, I think it is much improved over the 996. I was anticipating the debut of the 997 Turbo and have to say I am luke warm on the looks...at least in pictures anyway.

I've always felt that Porsche could improve the aesthetics of the Turbo by doing one thing, getting rid of the "insert" look of the turbo intakes on the rear quarter panels. The 1998 Turbo S has smooth intakes. When Ferrari does an intake for brake cooling, they always have nice smooth transisitions for their intakes, and their body styling always looks really clean.

There is a nice photo of the 997 Turbo in Cobalt Blue floating around on the board, could someone photoshop the insert lines out and make it a smooth intake. It just looks cluttered with the inserts IMO.

Anyone agree on this?

EDIT: I just noticed that this is my first post, I have been lurking for so long I forgot that I have never posted before....Hello all!! Wife has a 987 and I had a 996 C4!! M6 waiter for now.

somewhat agree but depends on color i guess. cost was another reason for them not to do it.

sorry, not Cobalt.

Thanks 20C4S.

I think taking away the intake insert lines cleans up the look a lot. I am kind of surprised no one else commented on this one. Are we the only ones that think this un-clutters the look of the Porsche Turbo in a big way?
