Worth $463 for oil change at the dealership (Champion Porsche)?

Hi there. When I got the car, I was told by a car professional that I should get my oil changed at the dealership. He says his friend who is a mechanic with a Porsche doesn’t even do oil changes on his Porsche himself because apparently the dealership is that much better and they are extremely thorough

thoughts?

I have an airbag light that can’t be diagnosed to anything by different indies so maybe they’ll figure it out for me during the routine checkup with oil change?

Finally Foreign Affairs Motorsport figured out what was wrong with my airbag light. Will have to replace the frame on the passenger seat but that is now figured out! And will get my seats reupholstered while I do that too. Got my oil changed by them for ~$260 minus $100 for checking in on the Yelp app. They also found and are taking care of a litany of other overdue things that other shops didn't mention. Thank you FAM!

I accidentally called Champion Motorsport yesterday to cancel my appointment, but then I found out that Champion Porsche is a totally separate thing from Champion Motorsport, even though they both the family's. The person I talked to on the phone said Champion Motorsport is where they have fun. Very cool.

$463. If you near me I'll do it for half that price. Seriously though, a couple of basic tools, a filter, 10 quarts of synthetic oil and 30 minutes or less and your done.

I will likely inquire about tuning there, as they said when I accidentally called Motorsport that they are the division that has fun

i brought my car to Foreign Affairs Motorsport for an old window regulator issue and an oil change ($100 off for checking in on yelp) and they diagnosed my airbag light issue and fixed a whole bunch of other things others haven’t noticed, like the turbo boost hose and CV boots. Great shop.

I've actually just completed my oil change a week ago.

Got oil for 1/2 price, all the parts, tools, etc. cost me just under $200 and now also have enough oil and parts (2 filters and 2+2 crush washers) left over for another 2 oil changes.

All consecutive changes should cost roughly $60 (Oil, filter and crush washers).

That tells you about the markup they are charging.
