Thought I’d get a thread going here, been meaning to do it for a while now.

The car is a 2009 Turbo meaning it was basically a run out model for the 997.1 Turbo, it came with the gen 2 interior including PCM 3 and air conditioning controls but kept the 3.6 Mezger out back.

These models are often referred to as Gen 1.5 and are quite rare as not many were sold given the financial situation in 2008/2009 coupled with people deciding to wait until the new gen2 model was released. Numbers for these cars in manual transmission form are estimated at 50 in total supplied to UK / Ireland market, of these I’m guessing a very small percentage were carrera white considering most over here are black, grey or blue.

I’ve had the car for over two years now and there’s currently 41k miles on the clock, I’ve yet to come accross another carrera white 997 turbo on the road or for sale here, let alone a 2009 one.

The car is estimated at approx 620bhp according to 9excellence and it feels about accurate.

Future plans are to try and source a set of 997.1 GT2 wheels.
