In Road & Track's original test the CTR trapped 133.5mph in the 1/4. The 997tt has only been tested to do 120mph in the 1/4 so far. They are not even close. Well done Adam!!

Whatever you say. It sounds to me the 997TT just got handled by a 20 year old 911 that was built around the 3.2L

Adam,

good story... and a lucky coincidence to run into a 997TT. Nice to see your car managing to pull up beside a 997TT. Wish i was there to play along. Drive safely.

P.S. I feel sorry for Lisa...i know how it feels when you expect the power to come instantly under your right foot...and things turn around on you. At least she must have enjoyed it at the Nurburgring.

Wonderful story Adam!

The RUF R Turbo 550 and above should be faster than the 997TT.
I guess the R Turbo 550 does 0-200 kmh in about 11 secs.

Blahhhhhhh, the CTR is not even a 996!!!!

Don't know about you guys, but I can't stand old cars. Their interior and exterior are just OLD. Did I mention that they are OLD?! New is better, new is better, new is better.

Dang awesome race.

Last i knew from the vid forever ago the Rturbo is as fast as the CTR?????? So she should have walked the 997tt too, if the boost came on.

The CTR is just pure sex. I would kill for that car. Until then I'll just lap the ring in Forza for XBox

If by better you mean not as fast you are right. The CTR is faster than the R Turbo. I raced a 997S the other day, it was like racing a stop sign.
