Hesperus,

Thank you very much for keeping us updated on the progress of your car.

You will have the first RT12 on 6speed. You're a very lucky fellow. Do you have the "longer" sixth gear option as well?

Schuepbach, Khalid,

Any idea when the R50 will be released? Production numbers must be extremely limited, right?

thanks! i will continue to post updates as I receive them.

we thought about the taller sixth... but in the end, the standard sixth gear is more than enough. where i live, there are no freeways or autobahns to really enjoy that kind of speed. so acceleration is more relevant than top end.

congrats man, enjoy it in the best of health !
thanks! you are too kind. the F40 has been on my top 3 dream car list from when the model was introduced. maybe i'm just a child of the 80's, but even with all the crazy *** rides and horsepower wars going on, nothing epitomizes the term "supercar" for me, more than the F40 and the Macca.

That was a prototype of the car .. but the pics are almost 2 years old now ... No new pictures have been posted.

At the moment Ruf is concentrating on the "bodykit"-version of the RK Spyder for the Boxster 987. I do not know how the current R50 progress is ...

The RUF factory would, hopefully, be ready around March next year.

That's not what the R50 would look like. It's only a prototype.

Didn't mean to highjack your thread Hesperus.
