I think they protected themselves a little better than that ... Especially with the options that Dario chose.

I wouldn't leave my dealer hang out to dry ... I'll buy the car if no one else does ... they've been good to me and I want to keep that relationship ..

the options he chose should make the car move fast. fully loaded, with PCCB and white being a safe color...

True, but I recall the only reason Dario having to put down 10K in the first place was because of those options.

One would only think that was the case but it seems that most people, including dealers, have their cars spec'd out at $130-$135K max ... This cars price point seems difficult to move ...

,

No ... I'm saying most people didn't get over $10K in Carbon Fiber and another $10K for PCCB's thus making other launch cars much less ... plus shockingly, most people prefer black and silver ... I drove by 50 silver cars today

I am aware that quite a few launch cars inbound are spec'd with full carbon or similar packages, pricing above 140k range.

I think it will go, don't sweat it.

I believe it's a six speed, man.

Dario, I don't understand the problem here. Being one of the first 997tt's in North America, is there not going to be a line-up of guys at the store (or on ebay) willing to pay list plus for this thing? I would have thought that such a tastefully specced car would sell in minutes in ebay-izakistan?

Dario-

I'm working on it for you too....everyone's asking me about those cars, but people do want black or silver....nature of the beast. When is your car due at the dealership?
