Opus 911: The new Turbo
Are you sure that what you are calling "lapis blue" is not "midnight blue"?
The only reason I ask is my friend has a lapis blue 996 and it is just a shade darker than the cobalt blue, and the lapis in your pictures is kind of dark. Maybe Porsche decided to change their color scheme with the 997 (??). Maybe it is just the lighting in your pics, but the D2X is pretty accurate (I also have one).
I have told my dealer I am interested in a midnight blue 997TT (or GT2 if available in the US) but I will change it to lapis if that indeed what you have pictured is the lapis blue and not midnight.
Sorry to be picky!
Thanks again for the great pics and the write-ups

Sorry to be a PITA but I was just not sure.
I had one friend with a midnight blue 996 and another with a lapis. Your pics were just slightly "lighter" than my friend's midnight.
We all know that Porsche's different shades of blue and grey look different in the shade and sunlight. As I am one of those who also thinks the 997TT looks better in darker colors, I just wanted to get a better idea of how they looked.
As others here have already said your pics have been some of the best we have seen to date. Thanks again.

Ok guys, I've finally uploaded the videos to Google Videos and submitted things so hopefully they should all be approved for viewing soon! I'll definitely post them here once that's been done. 10 videos in all. I think you'll enjoy them.
Personally, I don't know if my car had LSD since that's not obvious but from driving the car, I'd think so. I definitely ordered it though!
I wasn't too sure about the CF trim prior to seeing it in person but now I've ordered the basic package! Looks really sharp! The other CF package is bloody expensive at $2700 USD! Hardly worth it IMHO. I think that the car that I drove had both packages. Looked really good!
I'm glad that all of you guys are enjoying the many pictures that I uploaded! I enjoyed taking them!
Guess what? There STILL more to come! So definitely keep checking the site!
