Just seemed odd that they'd put it up there instead of down where it belongs.

I believe hesperus lives in another continent.

That must be a temporary EU plate.

that's correct. in fact, i'm only in germany this week to finally drive the car, and ensure that everything is exactly as we want it before finally shipping it home.

some very minor cosmetic changes will be done (e.g., A-pillars will be trimmed in alcantara instead of leather, custom storage bins that replace the rear seats will be made shallower, a numbered plate showing the Ruf VIN and build date will be installed somewhere in the interior) but otherwise, its exactly as we want it.

the plates are actually Ruf's red "test" plates, used for factory test cars. the actual license plates used in my home country are different sized, and holes will be made in the bumper to accomodate the proper license holders prior to final shipment. in the meantime, taping the red plates seemed the fastest and most efficient-- if not most aesthetically pleasing-- way to get the car out of the showroom and actually running on the road while i'm visiting.

will get pics of the interior up shortly.
