Many test drivers, world wide, motorcycle or automobile, have "arrangements" with aftermarket manufacturers to bring a new car by before public release so the aftermarket manufacturer can have product at or near public release. Not necessarily approved by the vehicle manufacturer, but usually ignored for the benefit of future buyers.

I think a turbo should have a steel roof.. I've had both and prefer the hard top.
