Just curious to hear your opinion on the new 997TT Tip. How much better is it than the 996TT?

 

Yes just got mine Friday. I have always had 6 speed until now. I drove a 996 tip in germany 4-5 years ago and did not care for it. It shifted to slow. Not the case now, what an improvement. My car is a daily driver and in traffic shifts smooth and fast. When you press the sport button it shifts lightening fast, all you get is one smooth push back in the seat. Awsome, will never go back to manual.

 

Glad to see you like it. So it doesn't jerk you around under hard acceleration huh?

 

I have not had full acceleration because of the brake in period. I would call it fairly agressive acceleration. I will post after brake in.
