3 piece wheels for turbo

hi i have a 996 C4S with NC Forged 3 piece wheels. do the new 997's with the widebody have the same offset as the 996's. i was wondering if they will fit a new 997 Turbo or 997 C4S. They are 19".

Thanks for any help.

996TT's and C4S's have a standard rear offset of 45mm with a 18x11 wheel. The new 997 wdebodies have a rear offset of 51mm with a 19x11 wheel. So for wheels using the standard 996tt offsets you would need an additional 6mm (1/4") of clearance between the sidewall and the wheelwell. Camber and ride weight will also play a factor. For custom wheels, sometimes the offsets and widths can get pretty aggressive for 996tt's, gt2's and c4s's. Any where from the standard 45mm all the way down to 25mm for offsets and 11", 11.5" and 12" widths, so for your NC Forged you will need to know the offset and width for correct fitment. Keep in mind that your most of your 295, 305 and 315 width 19" tires may also be taller than the standard 18" tires.

Yeah..they shoud be able to help you!

Those widths are pretty agressive even without knowing the offsets!

Are those widths edge to edge or inside bead to inside bead? Some companies measure widths differently so they may be 9's and 11.5.

Correct me if I'm worng. I thought the ET number gets lower, the wheels push more outside of the fender. So I think you need to cut 6mm to make the 996C4S wheels to fit 997TT. But then it all depends on how aggressive offset from your NC wheels.
