In a prior thread about the little gift Porsche sent to some owners that included a model of the turbine, I asked about the size of the actual turbine. Not being a mechnical type, I wondered about the actual size.

Could someone kindly answer this question (6" in diameter? 12"? 24"?). Just curious on this hot summer day.

Judging by a photo of a cutaway demo in the Feb/March issue of Christophorus, the turbo housing looks to about 8 inches across. The turbine itself is probably about 4 inches in diameter. Just a rough guess by looking at the pics. If my scanner worked, I'd post a pic.
