I remember in 1988, I was in high school a friend of mine showed me a brochure of the Gemballa Avalanche. I thought it was the coolest car I had ever seen!!! It was this model below. Apparently, the stopped making the Avalanche in 1989 and started again in 2005. What a difference 17 years makes! It's funny... it didnt look so much like a toy to me as it does looking at it now!

Wow, it looks awesome. I love how they integrated some of the CGT styling, especially how they integrated the exhaust exiting through the rear bumper. I'm not usually a big fan of some of Gemballa's cartoonish kits, but this one is finally spot on with performance to match!

Does anyone else remember when Vanilla Ice had an Avalanche, pearl white and all tricked out. This Avalanche is smokin except for the interior. True to Gemballa that interior is over the top......

The red one isn't that low - I think it's the trim at the bottom of the first picture that's misleading.

That steering wheel looks so thick.
But the exhaust/rear bumper are awesome!!!!

Yeah, much nicer in Silver for sure... I'm diggin' that FAT steering wheel, but I'm not too crazy about that rear spoiler and the interior

But if Gemballa offered it to me I wouldn't say no!

OK...that Avalanche should be based on the 997S, in which the engine has been raised to 650 hp!
These are some very nicec shots...Thanks DJ
Two of the best interiors and exteriors seen on a 997

I prefer techart much more, the gemballa looks much like a kit car, where as the TA looks factory.

The wing on the red one is way bigger than the wing on the sliver car.

I know the car is probably stupid fast but does it (the red one) really need that wing?
