God those wheels are ugly.

The 9ff front lip and the rear spoiler have yet to be installed.

Those are the worst wheels I have ever seen. They look like hub caps.

HotRodGuy Sep 15, 2006 02:01 PM

I'm actually starting to like the wheels, given they'd look a lot better on a Chopped 51 Merc

Damn...I actually think those are growing on me!

When I first saw them on the Cayman..I hated them.

I showed you guys a pic w/ these wheels from the same photoshoot (with a skinny-ass model).

Anyhow, I actually think I *almost* like these now. Definitely an acquired taste.

TAD's suggestion of black wheels is prety cool. I'll tell Jan to "paint em black" and leave the polished lip.

That could be *****in.

I'll have some pics of the aerokit installed next week. The front lip is really cool - has a 993GT2 look to it - with curled fins. The rear spoiler is familiar 9ff. The car's aerokit should be done by tomorow - as Ian Kuagh (exellence magazine) is showing up to drive the 9ff tuned version.

They also have two 9ff prepared cars starting in tomorrow's Gumball 3000. A 702HP 996TT and a CayTT i believe.

Very exciting times for sure!
