Replacing OEM wheels and tire pressure sensors?

I'm planning to replace my OEM wheels and was wondering if you folks knew what I can do to ensure that the OEM tire pressure sensors continue to work with the aftermarket wheels? Some have said that it might be a bad idea to use wheel bands so I'm trying to get some more information about the OEM sensors. Are they integrated into the OEM wheels or can they be moved?

mishref will become famous soon enough
People have shifted their TPMS sensors to aftermarket wheels .. you just have to check if the aftermarket wheel supports it.

My Champion RS98's work with the TPMS sensors. They fit in the exact factory location.

Thanks guys! Looks like I won't have any issue with the TPSM sensors then. Do you know what torque specs are used for the lugnuts?
