Pcars on port hold

My car, 997TT, has been at the port in Baltimore for over a week with other Pcars. My dealer has told me that they are being held for a quality control issue that has not been revealed to them and I have no reason not to believe them. Does anyone have any specific reasons Porsche is holding these cars? Thanks

Some folks on rennteam think that it's related to the recent recall covering brake squeal on steel/PCCB based cars. I'm not too sure about that though. As far as I know, mine hasn't been held back.

we have not been told anything as to why these cars have been held at port. It is just as frustrating to us as it is to you.

It's top secret, but I'll tell you why....

We sent them special drills, and they are drilling out all front bumpers for us.

I've noticed that the delays seem to be affecting cars on the East coast so far..I haven't heard of any delays for cars going to the West coast. My dealership is telling me that my car hasn't been delayed thus so far.
