Saw the updated 997TT order guide, sport shifter no longer available??!!

What's the deal with that, anyone know??

From a few threads in the past, I believe it has to be dealer installed.

Yep, when production resumed in late August/early Sept, the Sportshifter factory install option was removed, the sidemirrors were changed so that they no longer have black borders and the chrome tailpipe tips were made standard over the stainless steel tips. Anyone know what other changes were made?

it's like a rubber edge around the actual mirror glass. dimming mirror supplier switch maybe.

Yeah I was wondering about that..did the new supplier somehow manage to provide the self-dimming side mirrors without the use of those black borders? When I ordered my aspherical side mirrors they accidentally ordered one with and one without. The one without did not have the wiring needed for self-dimming so I ordered another one with the borders because I'd assumed that those had the self-dimming.
