LOL! I think I was the first one on here to get those wheels! Funny thing is that when I was picking up the Turbo, there was a 996TT outside with the 18" GT3 wheels and then on the way home I ran into a 996 C4S with the 18" GT3 wheels too.

Are you going to get yours painted or leave it stock? I suggest that you get the 18mm forged spacers from boothe design. Ralph is a great guy to deal with. I even got chrome lug nuts from him too. Locking ones too.

Maybe all should wait for the RS wheels to be available, since they are for the widebody. Looks great Jason!

Actually, the RS uses spacers from what I understand.

I weighed both the GT3 and Turbo wheels:

GT3 wheels
8.5"x19" = 23.5 lbs
12"x19" = 31 lbs

Turbo wheels
8.5"x19" = 24.5 lbs
11"x19" = 29.5 lbs

Yes,

Those spacers are 3-5mm.
The RS rear wheels have a 51mm offset compared to the GT3's 68mm. So with the RS wheels you could do away with your 18mm spacers.

Nice to know that..but I still wouldn't want black nor orange wheels so those RS wheels are not an option for me. But that's good information to know.

FYI, RS wheels do come in Silver as an option.

B7R, good choice on the wheels. The GT3 wheels look awesome on the turbo.

Even if the RS wheels came in black you could easily have them painted or powder coated silver. And then that would be a perfect time to paint the sideskirts. Hell why not even the front lip
