My 997TT is going under the knife :)
Yes, on a Mustang dyno the car with *just* the Protomotive ECU made 471 AWHP and 486 AWTQ (!) Once the muffler is installed next week we'll re-dyno, and then comes the headers & Protomotive-modified turbos.
Yep - I'm lucky enough to have a local station which sells it straight from the pump
No point in dropping $140K on a car an then skimping $2/gal on gas.
Looking at other protomotive ecu dyno graphs, I'd say the 100 octane boosted midrange torque a bit, but did little/nothing for the top end. Makes sense - max cyl pressures will exist in the midrange.

100 make such a big difference. Drives me crazy that we have to use 91 out here. I live pretty close by as well but not all of us are that luck to have a race gas pit stop:P
The upgrade project has had a 10-day delay for a most unexpected reason - the shipping company which transported my 997TT from Boston to CA when I first bought it, appears to have used the jack points to tie down the car. This process literally ripped one of the jack points (the rear passenger side) *off* the car. Rather than trying to rig up something to safely lift the car, I opted to order a factory jack point and have it welded back on before proceeding. The jack point had to be shipped from Germany; it's now in the states but has not yet arrived.
So... there's a pause in the upgrade plan, but nothing serious. I expect to have the exhaust installed & re-dyno'd by middle of next week, after which the turbos come off and the real fun begins
