Quick Thoughts on New Atlas Grey TT
Quick Thoughts on New Atlas Grey TT
First of all...Pics to follow when weather and clean car allows.
This car feels like a street bike with four wheels.
This car is NOT idiot-proof....the torque of this car definitely out muscles the PSM.
With that said, no car I have driven allows me to go faster with more confidence than the TT.
Launching the car with the sport suspension set to off feels like pulling a wheely at the NHRA funny car races. The stiffer setting is definitely needed to prevent the front end from rising unnecessarily.
I detect minimal turbo lag.
I don't know how those of you can focus on the road while launching AND focus on the turbometer.
This car accelerates ridiculously fast from 70-120mph (3rd gear, pin it, look down, you're going 120).
Rev limiter in the red line really cuts off the juice dramatically.
Non-sport shifter throws are a little long.
The smell of fresh hot turbo paint is intoxicating.
Adaptive sport seats feel like they were custom made for my frame.
The exhaust noise rattles the walls when pulling into the garage (no aftermarket exhaust plans here.)
More thoughts and pics to follow.

I'm jealous. If only I could afford one. I wanted a TT - either 996 or 997, but couldn't pull the trigger. Had to settle for a vette.
Atlas grey is a GREAT color. Can't wait for the pictures...
