you can say that again! wow, the ruf really showed them whose boss. was this the AWD ruf or the RWD? RWD would prob be even faster if AWD was tested.

 

I suppose it was RWD...but I'm not so sure.
It even burns a Carrera GT in accelerating...damn!
Would pay to see such a comparison between these two

Please note that these cars were driven under different conditions, different drivers etc. Not sure how conclusive it is, other than the Rt12 is really fast.

Interestingly:
RUF CTR "Yellowbird" - The fastest at the time vs. F40, 959 Works etc.
RUF CTR II - Only beaten by McLaren F1
RUF Rt12 - Only beaten by Bugatti Veyron.

 

Ruf's cars and mods are crazy expensive, but, you can't argue with the results..They do more with less "claimed" hp and torque then anyone and consistently post the fastest times in comparisons
