I'm ordering my 997 TT in Meteor and was thinking about painting the rockers and rear lip only. Thoughts on this? Think it would look good? Any experiences or pics?

I have to say also include the spoiler lip, I know you might scrape it but without the spoiler lip and the rest done it will look unfinished.

 

It looks best when all are painted, however I don't think its a might, but a certainty that the front spoiler will be scraped eventually. But if you do paint it, I highly reccomend at least having clear bra on it as well.

 

Any pics to understand better what you are thinking about??

 

my hesitation on painting the front was confirmed TODAY as I watched the front lip on my 996 TT literally flip underneath the bumper as it was being towed up a flatbed! confirmation of 2 thing:

1) order the damn 997TT

2) do not paint the friggin' front lip

 

The front spoiler is so low they don't even ship the 997TT with it installed.

I would paint it as well. You can always get a new front lip and put it on having it achieve the look you are thinking of.

gurfein, paint it don't mind...as someone said before in other threads it's just 200 bucks for it so...keep it!
