What do you think of my specs?

I still have a couple of months but I think i'm pretty much set. I know the leather and CF is not very fiscally responsible but I plan on keeping this one and not interested in buying the car for the next guy.

Slate grey / black interior
Adaptive sport seats
heated seats
Std. rocker panels painted
sports chrono
Axle rear diff.
Thicker sports steering wheel
Crests in headrests
Center rear console in leather
Door finishers in leather
Carbon Fiber package
Carbon Fiber switch panel
Gear lever trim in leather
storage bin w/ model logo
sports shifter - dealer installed

The one option that i'm having a tough time with is the CF switch panel - I just don't know how they come up with $2,700 for this. I don't see how that should cost more than the rear center console in CF? I like the basic packgae but I'm concerned that I'll have CF, volcano, and galvano within the interior. I know many have done their cars exactly like this (atomic for one) and it looks great. maybe I'm putting too much thought into this.

Your specs looks good to me ... unless you wanted more interior parts covered in leather,
You can conceder getting the steering-colom area in leather as well ...

The gear lever and e-brake are part of the basic CF package so got that covered.

Looks good to me, but I wouldn't pay $2,700 for the switch panel. Or any of the CF parts for that matter. It looks nice if it's there. but you won't miss it if it isn't there. Same goes for all the other insignificant, but costly porsche options like painted rocker panels and leather on the steering column. I think it's just a way for Porsche to make extra money on things that in the end are useless.

Chris,

I agree with RCNJ. PCCB is incredible. Leather and CF is cool, but driving the car and enjoying the performance is even better. Like I said on RL, your car will be a joy. Deck it out the way you want and enjoy it in good health.

I saw the carbon on a TT, looked lesser quality (read cheaper) than on a 996. I'd ditch the carbon extras altogether. You don't need pccb's on a 3400lbs street car, the steel big reds are the largest ever put on a TT, more than adequate and won't cost an arm and a leg to replace.
May want to rethink the painted rockers as well, they will get beat up a bit on a DD.
Overall looks great Chris!
