Recent Car mag had an article on Porsches and described the Porsche badge and its history and what symbols mean. Interesting stuff. "The badge made its debut on the steering wheel of a 356 in 1953. The six diagonally opposed black antlers and the red and black bars represent the state of Baden-Wurttemburg. The horse comes from the Stuttgart-translated as 'stud garden' -coat of arms, the region's capital which is well known for its equestrian breeding." Never knew the significance of the special horse symbol. I always wondered why so many ladies love riding in these Porsches.
