Comparing the 997tt to the F430 is a little like the 'vette dude comparing the ZO6 to the 997tt.

Yes, the 997tt is faster from red light to red light.

But come on, which is the finer car?

I love my 997tt....if I could have found a new F430 for sticker I would have bought one in a heart beat.

that turbo walked that 430...i dont think the 430 is a finer car AT ALL! i actually think the 430 spyder is extremely ugly...i think that both are fine but just depends on how attention crazy you are...on attention/flash scale, the 430 gets a 10, the turbo a 9.

I would still keep the TT even if I could snag a F430 for MSRP, BUT I think a significant number of Porsche folks would make the switch if the cost of the Turbo increases and the Ferarri is available to all for MSRP. Not likely to happen. By the way, I never thought that the turbo was a bargain but I think it is priced just right. We will see what happens to MSRP come September?
