I definitely STILL think Forza 1 is amazing...but I dont have a 360...picked up a "new" OLD ps2 on the basis of learning tracks...it was only 100 for the whole system and game...not too bad.

 

Forza 2 keeps getting pushed back sadly so lets hope May is the date this time. Plus to Forza 2 is AWE is in the game, pretty cool I think. Should be a good follow up to Forza 1.

I tend to argree. Growing up and not really playing video games, i only started at GT3 then progressed to PGR3.

every single record in those games I have definatly done 4-8 drinks in, and some of my better trys are 10+ in.

Im not advocating drinking and driving, but at least in video games, you get into a zone, and drinking helps it. same Idea as "swing oil" in golf.




to the OP, why would you use a roller chair if you were going to me putting presser on it laterally.
My advise would be to take a few measurements of your perfect driving position and then get a chair that you can be that far off the grou, make a little bracket for the steering wheel to be like ithe height in the PCar or what not.

agree. i have PGR3 on the 360 with the microsoft force feedback wheel, and the handling of the cars is just too arcade-y. graphics on PGR3 are WAY better than GT4 on the PS2, but the dynamics just aren't very realistic.

of course, when GT5 comes out for the PS3, i know i'm going to have get that as well

Anyone ever play Ferrari 355? I loved that game in the arcade, clutch, 6 speed. Car felt nice and heavy. That game was the reason I bought a Dreamcast.

 

I spent a lot of money on that arcade. I played it at least five times every trip.

Forza 2 looks amazing. My gripe with PGR3 is no customization. It is a fun game, but if exhaust notes change with intake/headers/exhaust alterations, thats just awesome. Plus, PGR3 had a lot of glitches for cheating that Forza accounted for (using other cars to slingshot through turns).

 

Actually I have the chair because that setup doubles as my computer work station. Flip of a switch and the monitor, mouse and keyboard are ready to start working or surfing the net.
I actually wan't to get one of these and dedicate a plamsa to gaming but the wife would have me move into a dingy un-finished basement or into the garage.

I retract my previous statement about forza 2 as I just went to thier website to find out more about the game and will definetly be buying it. Cant wait for a 6speed forza raceday.
