What body shop did you go to, and how much to install it? I have one in my garage but was worried to get it installed and mess up my front bumper, but since they did it on your car already I would have no worries. PM me if you'd like, thanks! Btw, I'm located in Riverside.

Unfortunately I was one of the few that got the GT3 vent from carnewal. I got it from them before I knew that it'd be $43 here in the states.

Looks great! I'm surprised to hear that they just "clipped" it in because when looking at the vent piece, it doesn't look like there's a way to do that. It actually looks like it's screwed in from underneath on the GT3. Can you ask your shop exactly how they just clipped it in? Does it feel loose when you touch it because at high speeds it could potentially fly off if its not secured properly.

Could you take a couple more shots? One looking straight on the front including the whole car and one from a side angle again including the whole car. Many thanks! Mine is due to be done in a couple weeks (shop is extremely backed up).

 

I would like a larger pic seeing the entire car body and seeing the gt3 vent as well....

Keep it the black plastic as the carbon wouldn't match anything else on your car's exterior.

It just looks good,Serves no purpose,When they called me to pick up the vent they said was the last one in the US.However when I ordered it they said it was not avaliable,It showed a week later,$43.00 I should have ordered 10 of them.I seen one on E-bay BUY IT NOW $350.00

 

I assume there is some extra ducting under the nose, otherwise it's just a hole in the nose producing an unknown aerodynamic effect. When I bought the third radiator kit for my 996 it came with all kinds parts (ducting etc). Find out what other parts the GT3/2 use for this vent then it might actually be some benefit, although it's a mod I would not want the more power to y'all . IF I was going to do something like this, I would go for the entire factory GT2 aero package.

 

Where does the water go?

 

It has a little space to lock under the flange.Where it would be screwed in on a GT3,West Coast Customs is pretty creative.They did a full Lorinser kit on my SL55 that car stopped traffic.

Hi Jeff. I think you are referring to the Roof Spoiler in CF. I do have that on order and still waiting unfortunately.

Is CF spoiler from Techart coming this week?,I keep getting a song and dance with my guy in San Diego.I will do the pictures in the morning,My wife is busting the *****.That I talk to you guys more than her.

 

Not sure I would do that mod, almost like a gt2/3 poser if it's not functional. Gotta hurt resale. jmo.
