As much as I love TechArt I must say that rear is truly hideous
Completely out of balance and from some POVs it looks plainly ridiculous.

I truly hope that it will look a lot better in a more neutral color but I'm afraid it won't. The only thing that looks good IMHO is the front of the car.

I like the front, especially in another color, but the back just doesn't do it for me (definitely too wild ala Gemballa). But we still have to see it in person. So far, the 996 kit posted above looks a lot nicer IMO.

i like the idea of those matte black parts, and i'd like the rear if those gaping holes were filled. The spoiler just doesn't belong. Not sure how i feel about the vent behind the front wheels.

When I saw the artist's rendition of the GT Street, I said "Oh Man! I just installed the RUF front bumber and rear spoiler and now TechArt come out with an awesome kit."

I was in contact with TechArt in ordering a set and going to sent payment already when the actual pictures were posted. Needless to say, my money is going to turbo upgrades instead.

When I showed my daughter the pictures, she said if I wanted my Porsche to look like a Honda, then go ahead.

Reminds me of my Porsche car in Need for Speed: Underground.

I like it but think that the wing may be a bit over-dramatic. That being said, I think it would be a mistake to judge this kit without seeing it in person. Sure that wing looks ridiculous now, but I'm not convinced that it won't look far better in person or from a different angle. I may be a techart fanboy, but they have proven to know what looks good in the past.

(sigh) this is tough. I will hold off till I see it in real life, like Fred I have faith in TechArt, and there design department. I don't think it is fair to even mention Gemballa in the same sentence as TechArt, they are on completely different levels.

the front and sides are absolutely spot on, but i'd match with the current rear end with just the lower add ons and the spoiler. the orange car version looks too kit car.

paint everything body color, done. love the 997 Tech Turbo
