I'm waiting for the call from my local dealer too but wasn't expecting anything for at least a few more months. Has your dealer contacted you saying Porsches order system is now taking orders?

It didnt sound like the order systems are updated with the new forms as of yet. But he asked me to make a verbal order now, I guess they need to rush out the launch cars.

Order system is NOT ready for the TT Cab....your dealer is a squirrel looking for money.

More importantly, WHY are you bailing so early if you have the #1 slot?

Turbo Cabriolet Orders.

Porsche has not allocated any 997 Turbo Cabs to the dealers yet. Porsche has only indicated that the car will go on sale in September 2007. We have not received any 2008 allocations (starting July 2007). I don't know what your dealer is trying to do here.

Dealers are getting to spec their launch cars, regional reps permitting.

Several others have gotten the call. It's all legit.
