Likely b/c he had a Turbo S beforehand and hasn't gotten around to changing the vanity plates. It's been proven that red cars are naturally faster and certainly draw more attention than other colors (not necessarily good). After having mine for 4+ years I'm not sick of the red at all but will certainly change on the replacement car, whenever & whatever that would be. Lately I've been drawn to white and there's this picture of a white Gallardo spyder that is just killing me.

 

I guess great minds think alike.......I am in the same boat. I am a color guy, I love colors especially red cars. But I am dying for a white Gallardo and will be my next car purchase.

 

All 3 of our great NY state of minds think alike then, well Jim we talked about this a while ago (your replacement car) and i was just at Bentley of LI drooling over a White Gallardo in the damn showroom, i wanted to drop the hammer right there

Just do it, only other Porsche's i would go to from my RUF is a GT3RS or CGT, but i must own an italian before as well, 360CS is looking good

 

I do not see enough red sports cars on the road these days

 

IllM3 was drooling over the yellow carrara GT, while I was looking at the gorgeous Gallardo convertible

 

Vinny, i was drooling over the Silver on Ascott Brown CGT that was there, but then we saw that white Gallardo, and yea, it was amazing
