I like how they covered up the Porsche hood badge so people wouldn't know it was a Porsche.

Quote: I like the standard 997 or the GT3 "looks" better. The new car apears to have broken the center section of the lower spoiler off in a snow bank.
The car is missing the front lip...the bottom of the nose looks like a GT3 w/o the lip when they come off the truck so I'm sure the factory just left it of for snow reasons. photoshop a GT3 or Turbo lip and see what you think

I like it, except for the Saleen Rear Bumper treatment.

i think it looks sick. very mean and very agressive. the power and wieght reductions will make it king of the road. i dont like the slatty rear bumper but other than that, its amazing! (as it should be!)

Quote: I agree.

Front is missing something and back still looks unfinished.

Maybe it still is?
GT3 is still better looking.IMO

Agreed. I liked the 996 GT2’s rear fixed wing better - with the scoops built into the vertical supports. Pure car ****. Also, the wheels look a little average but maybe that will change.

<O</OI’m on the fence until the official release, but looks wise the GT3 / GT3RS beats it…for now.<O</O
<O</O

I’m with you BBGT2, 550+ HP and 330lbs less, will work REAL nice.<O</O

Why can't Porsche realize how good the GT2 Series looks!? I think they should do what Stephen and Todd did and put the LED's into the GT3 front bumper and call it a day. I know they want to differentiate it thus making it distinguishable but, it should be aggressive and to me, it just looks like they took the front bumper off a turbo, filled in the foglight holes and cut notched the lower middle of the front bumper and painted it black to simulate kind the Techart 996 front bumper. I'd love to see the rear bumper have treatment that resembles the CGT rear bumper. In any case, the car will be a monster, and I know that with Porsche "Form Follows Function" however that being said, being the most expensive 911 produced, it should look the part as well. As far as the Tail goes, it's hard to say, looks very similar to the 996GT2, which is fine by me, but would be cool to see one that looks more like a GT2 and the blade of the GT3RS. The Wheels obviously take a cue from the CGT and they look pretty good, so no complaint there. I can't wait for the official photos though because I'm sure they've got multiple cars with subtle differences out driving around so we really don't know which one is production ready.

Until i see how it's performance is, i can give my complete impression. As for now, i would say it does not look bad.
