So..I've got nothing really to look at but stupid pictures until my car arrives in July. I went up to the dealer on Saturday to see a slate TT. I have to say that pictures do this car absolutely no justice. They just don't capture the lines and stance at all. In person, the car is a completely different animal than in pictures. I can not wait until I take delivery.

 

Hang in there! In know it sucks to wait. It is well worth it!

I'm waiting for a Slate 997TT, too. It's supposed to get here end of May/early June. The wait is driving me nuts.

Why don't you come to one of the NJ get togethers...there are a bunch of TTs there...I'll even let you take mine for a spin.

 

I agree well worth the wait...specially if you built it to your liking. Your also right pictures do this car no justice. Saw one on the road today and it is just pure beauty and eye candy.

 

slate is really nice...glad I went with meteor, though. It's much nicer than seal which I currently own.

 

I had to get my TT fix last week. Went to roslyn porsche, they were prepping a nice slate TT and had a GT silver and a basalt in the showroom.

 

I'm in the same boat and I feel your pain. My Meteor 997TT should be completed in 10 days and be delivered in late May. Maybe we could meet sometime, say in Kansas City?
