Can anyone see throught the blurrrrrrrrrrrr ?

Just a few points to clarify about the car:
1) Car is NOT based on the Cayman
Contrary to popular belief and earlier reports, it is incorrect to say the car is based on the Cayman. The front portion of the car is essentially based on the 997 Turbo (suspension members, etc).
However, there are some noteworth differences:
- front wings are all-new (i.e., not Porsche sheet metal);
- front windshield is shorter than both 911 and Cayman
2) Certain details on the car are not in final form
The slats on the engine cover for example, will likely be revised pending more windtunnel testing. There may be other detail changes, though the basic shape will not change.
3) Sequential shifter will allow clutchless upshifts
Sorry for the earlier wrong information. The production version of the transmission will allow clutchless upshifts, with the clutch pedal only needed for downshifts.
