How confident are you about lowering the springs on these 997TT's. As you can tell, I have done quite a few mods and so far, NO ISSUES! I'm still a little leary about lowering (although I know it would look and drive better) due to the full computer integration of the engine/transmission/suspension???

Yeah those are really light for sure. They look great on the red turbo posted above. Show pics after mounting them.

excellent looking wheels with excellent quality, but these are not street approved, only for race use and they have problems with street EURO norm legalization certificate at the moment. That's what I've been told by Manthey Racing.

If properly engineered, there should be absolutely not issue with these on the street.

FYI, they have been using composite wheels on Semi-trucks in europe for a while now.... if they can tolerate those loads, a 3500 lb street car is a cake walk.

Again, its all in the fabrication/engineering....

Look great

Congrats Stephen! They do look better in person, and the difference in seat-of-pants feel is amazing. You're gonna love 'em.

Thanks Russ! I do all ready!

The wheels are tested for both street and track. They are TUV, JWL EU and DOT tested. GM tested them for both Cadillac and Corvette. The wheels are 3 times stronger than aluminum and 2 times Magnesium. THe last question, they have been tested by GM for UV break down as well. They delimitation it was not an issue.<O</O

Stephen, congratulations. I've been in love with the Dymags since I laid my eyes on them. That along with PCCB's should make your car quite light on it's feet! I can't wait to see your write up on those. What tires are you going to wrap around them, I'm guessing you're going to Nitro fill those once they're mounted. Can't wait to hear your write up and impressions of them on the car.

Those are awesome... anybody know the stock wheel weight off hand? 14lbs is just ridiculous... even if that 14 is actually 16 or 20
