Guy, I wouldn't worry too much that these wheels are any less durable than regular wheels-- at least not based on this TG story. From the way the article described the incident, as well as the object that they hit (sounds like a heavy cement base with 90-degree corners,) I'd surmise that any wheel would have been completely destroyed...

They have to adhere to DOT and TUV standards so basically any wheel you are running around with is at least the same as these. What is quoted is far more in comparison in regards to strength.<O</O
